FORSTER TUNCURRY SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
A PLACE YOU CAN CALL HOME
We are a community focused, Seventh-day Adventist church located on North St, Tuncurry. Each week we spend time together sharing worship, spiritual discovery, and food. We meet with bibles open, seeking God, because we believe there is real meaning and purpose for today that can be found in these ancient words.
Welcome to our family.
SATURDAY SERVICE
Every Saturday at 11am we meet for the main service of our church. This is a time for community, worship through music, teaching from the Bible, and prayer together. If you are new to our community, or exploring faith for the first time, this is the best place to start.
BIBLE STUDY CAFE
Before our main service, at 10am on Saturday mornings we have our Bible Study Cafe. We come together in our hall and enjoy a hot drink and some discussion with our bibles open. Learning from each other and growing in our spiritual journeys. It doesn't matter if you are completely new to Faith, or a biblical scholar, your story is valid and your contribution is welcome.
SHARING FOOD
We believe an important part of community is sharing food together. Why? Because life with God is about more than just religion, it's also about friendship and being together. Most weeks after our main service you will find us gathering back in our hall for a meal together. Some weeks you may be invited to a family meal or picnic.
Our Church
Forster Tuncurry Seventh-day Adventist Church is a community of faith rooted in the love of God. We believe worship is not just found in a church service, it’s something expressed in everything we do. This gives us a wholistic approach to faith and life in this world.
As an Adventist church we believe life is more than just the accumulation of "stuff". It’s about more than just surviving. It means more than simply maximising pleasure and minimising pain. We believe every life has infinite value. Why? Because every human is miraculously crafted by God who wants us to live life to the full. What's more, He sent His Son to demonstrate true love, forgiveness and grace.
